WHAT(FOR) DO YOU USE SIGMA S2U ALLURE PRIMER?

You can use Sigma S2U Allure Primer all year round as a primer on (unfinished) wood. The best processing temperatures are between 0°C and 30°C.

Drying times
At 5°C: dust-dry after 3 hours, tack-free after 5 hours and paintable after 24 hours.
At 23°C: dust-dry after 1.5 hours, tack-free after 3.5 hours and can be painted over after 16 hours.

Theoretically, the primer can last up to even one year, which means you could wait a year before applying the enamel paint over the primer.

APPLICATION OF SIGMA S2U ALLURE PRIMER

This Sigma primer is suitable for priming and over-priming exterior woodwork. You can then top with S2U Allure Gloss (high gloss) or S2U Allure Satin (semi-gloss).

What is (among other things) the difference between semi-gloss or high-gloss?
The higher the gloss level, the more resistant the paint is to weather influences. In addition, high gloss is easier to clean. On the other hand, satin gloss is easier to apply, because the more matt the paint, the more imperfections are concealed.

NB This primer can only be used on wood. Do you want to use this to prime plastic or metal? Then first apply a layer of multiprimer, such as Sigma Multiprimer Rapid.
